New recipes that no one else will be bringing to the party! Below are our favorite recipes we’ll be trying out on Sunday!

PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES

Easy and delicious. These are a sure crowd pleaser, taste great hot or cold and look Aura approved on any table spread. This recipes is easy to condense for smaller parties or duplicate if your having the whole team over.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1-2 lbs ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup lightly pulsed oat flour
  • 1 bottle of Franks redhot sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 cloves minced garlic.

Aura Avenue super bowlPREHEAT– Oven to 375 degrees. Combine, chicken, diced onion, minced garlic, diced celery, oat flour, and your egg white into a bowl. Salt and Pepper to taste. Combine with hands until evenly distributed. Add hot sauce, combine again.

Roll chicken into golfball size balls. We suggest about 1 inch diameter. Placed on to greased cookie sheet, and bake for 20-25 minutes.

DIP: COMBINE 1 tub of Fage GREEK yogurt with 1 package of Ranch dip seasoning. Place in a serving bowl, and serve.

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

This one is a beautiful and a healthy salad to add to your mix. All ingredients are currently in season and are able to grab almost anywhere and with little preparation time needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1/3 cup low-fat mayonnaise( or veganaise)
  • 1/3 cup nonfat or low-fat plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 1 medium red apple, diced
  • 1 cup halved red or green grapes

Place all ingredients into a bowl. Add wet ingredients, and chill. The longer this dish marries while chilled, the better the flavors get. This dish can also be served with tortilla chips or in a wrap and sliced.

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

A sure crowd pleaser and can satisfying any salty craving. Easy to make and loved by the football ball watching guest in house.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • 2-3 Packages of Ham, (The higher quality of the ham, the better keeping the rolls in tact is important.)
  • 1 tub of sour cream.
  • 1 container of dill pickle spears.
  • toothpicks
  • serving dish, ( we suggest a wood cutting board for an easy presenting touch)

Lay out each piece of ham on a large surface. Spread about 1 tablespoon onto each piece of meat to cover the entire section. Lay one pickle spear at the edge of the ham. Roll until the spear is covered. Add 3 toothpicks, spread out evenly along spear. Cut into 1/2-1 inch slices, as to be bite size pieces. Place eat bite size piece onto your tray, dish or cutting board. Chill until ready to serve.

Antipasto Salad Kabobs Aura Avenue Super BowlA N T I P A S T O    S A L A D    K A B O B S 

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

Salad on a stick?! Why not?!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • 2 7 oz containers fresh mozzarella balls
  • 2 4 oz. packages prosciutto
  • ½ lb. genoa salami, sliced thin
  • 1 12 oz. jar roasted red peppers
  • 1 6 oz can of black olives, or use the fresh cured olives from the olive bar at your grocery store
  • 1 bag of leaf lettuce, any kind you like

Lay out all you ingredients on a cutting board. Alternate the ingredients onto the skewers on any pattern you like, adding lettuce leaves after every few ingredients. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette or serve with dressing for dipping on the side.

PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES

A healthy version of tater tots. Need I say more? This is a perfect addition to the table spread for your guests.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • 2 cups cooked cauliflower florets, finely chopped *see note
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 3 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cooking spray

Cook the cauliflower florets by steaming a little over 2 cups raw cauliflower florets in water covered for for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender but not mushy, then drain well and dry on paper towel, then using a knife finely chop and set 2 cups aside. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a nonstick cookie sheet with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients and season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon 1 tablespoon of mixture in your hands and roll into small ovals. Place on the cookie sheet and bake for 16-18 minutes, turning halfway through cooking until golden.

S P I R A L S

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES *30 MINUTES to thaw puff pastry

Literally found this recipe three years ago and I use it as my secret weapon for all of my holidays and parties when I am running behind! It’s fast, easy and extra delicious! Your guests will be BEGGING for more!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • 1 pkg. (17.3 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed
  • 6 tbsp. spreadable garlic & herb cheese, softened
  • 8 slices prosciutto or thinly sliced deli ham

30 medium asparagus spears, trimmed

Heat the oven to 400°F. Unfold the pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Spread 3 tablespoons cheese on each pastry sheet. Top each with 4 slices prosciutto. Cut each into 15 strips crosswise, making 30 in all. Tightly wrap 1 pastry strip around each asparagus spear, prosciutto-side in. Place the pastries seam-side down onto 2 baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes and broil for 5 or until the pastries are golden brown.
