Spring is in the Air

It’s that time of year in the Pacific Northwest where the air is filled with the sweet scent of blossoms and rainbows shine in the sky. The sun is beginning to peak shyly through the clouds and I can feel the first few rays of warmth. The foliage is particularly vibrant this year, having received extra love from the rain. As the clouds begin to lift, I can feel the spirit of the city coming to life. It reminds me that Summer sun is ahead, and all is well.

Spring is such a beautiful time for change. It makes me feel like a baby bird hatching from it’s egg. After such an intense winter here in the PNW, I can feel everyone slowly making their way out of hibernation. This year was particularly rough, seeing as how we had 8 days of sun in 6 months, rain that seemed to last forever, and freezing temperatures that chilled me to the bone. These first signs of Spring have never felt so precious. The sun leaves a glimmer of hope every time it comes out, even if just for a few minutes. Hope that I will soon be warm. Hope for the magic that Summer brings. Hope for the opportunities that are on their way. Spring is a time of preparation and Summer is just around the bend.

May your Spring be as beautiful as your soul <3
