Subscriptions that Simplify
The old saying ‘work smarter not harder’ always hits me too late, post compiled algorithm-styled list of ‘to-dos’ to accomplish for my weekly and monthly tasks. All-the-while dancing around travel, work and my intricate calendar of birthdays, social events and so on. I yearn for the day I can have everything down to a science to spare a few moments of sanity! I’ve recently had an ‘ah ha’ moment by stumbling onto a few subscriptions that truly are turning into my latest obsessions by adding valuable time back to my clock. Check out the list of new trendy to-your-door subscriptions below which are some of the favorites I have access to with my bi-coastal living in Michigan and Orange County, California; I encourage you to find your own no matter where you live!
Firstleaf: I can’t even explain how excited I am to start this subscription up. The wines you want delivered to your door. No more standing in isles at the market debating whether the bottle with the oak tree or the one with the pretty fish will delight your taste buds. This wine club takes a Netflix approach to tailoring services to your preference. They compile 6-packs monthly and you get to rate each of the wines with feedback which helps the system to select your next batch precisely to your preferences. The more wines you rate, the more Firstleaf gets you personally. You can also swap bottles to old favorites before they ship.
Nicely Noted: Curated Stationary. Clearly this is a subscription I love if you look back to my Hand Written Notes blog post back when we first launched. I have since then found this subscription that I can’t wait to use. On average I buy 1-2 cards each time I visit the store. And I honestly use them all. I love writing my grandparents, friends and clients personalized notes that have really helped enrich my relationships. Nicely noted has an email list that they send tips to improve writing skills, stationery giveaways and a bts look to how they curate their cards. This subscription averages at $18 per month and after you choose your theme, three designer cards, pretty stamps and matching envelopes show up on your doorstep.
Blue Bottle Coffee: Just as I need my wine, I need my coffee. I part ways here and there to try and wing myself off of it but I can’t help but indulge in this subscription. I’ve become quite the coffee snob and need roasted beans of the highest quality with robust flavor. Blue Bottle offers monthly subscriptions of several sizes to curate to each customer. Whole bean and certified organic goodness.
Box of Happies: Sometimes a smile is all one needs. This is a monthly subscription box with unique handmade products that are created by talented artists. Four to six products in a reusable craft box come for however many months you choose. I find this box to be special as it says things without having to use words, when maybe words are not enough. I have had friends in need recently whether they had a bad breakup, loss in family or just some honest bad luck. Not knowing what to say or do in these times, I find Box of Happies to be a great way to show you care while also giving space and time needed for others to heal and rise above the present.
Drinkbar Juicery: Because Ivy is too modest to market her own goodness to Aura, I am not humble enough to keep this nourishing sanctuary from our readers! From individual juice cleanses starting with 6 bottles, to full CEO business packages that serve up to 50 bottles, this juice bar literally is changing lives and becoming a testimony to healthy living for us all to aspire to. Ivy and her husband Justin’s passion for good, wholesome, nourishing from the inside out adds credibility to the holistic healing you can find with their juice cleanses. Non HPP, organic, locally sourced, hand crafted-small batch, cold pressed and made fresh for each customer. If you are located in Orange County go check them out and see what type of program they can curate for you! Oh, and did I mention their acai bowls?!
Meats 2 U: This is a subscription your significant other can appreciate. My boyfriend actually swears by it and got me on board! Organic grass fed beef options, all seafood is wild caught, chicken and turkey is free-range and hormone free. Get what you want when you want from a click. Making healthy food choices without having to break the bank. Each portion individually packaged and vacuum-sealed for freshness and convenience is incomparable! They also have amazingly priced packages for tailgate parties to leaning out that feed from 6-35 mouths under $100. Healthy recipes on the site as well as all of the info you need to make the right decision for your dinners this week. My favorite selection is the 2lbs of Wild Caught Sashimi Grade Ahi Tuna.
Darby Smart: In the new rage of adult coloring books, diy jewelry and so on, I always find myself wishing I had more time for crafting but going to Michaels or Hobby Lobby distracts me from my original idea/inspiration so much that I always wind up walking out with opposite of what I came in for! Darby Smart is a perfect way to change this and actually get me to finish a project! Darby Smart curates DIY Kits from their community of designers that are constantly creating new projects. They have both adult and kid versions which I find super cool – and makes me even more kid envious these days. You’ll be saying “Thanks, I made it” in no time! Bonus – they have a full blog resource that has tons of more DIY projects on it so once you are in their community you have access to achieve personal style on countless crafts.
When some of the faculty members resume services for resume-chief.com and I questioned this proposal, an officer of the organization bluntly told a gates foundation representative, we want joe nathan out of cincinnati.
