Everyone is on a path, but not everyone is enjoying theirs. How do we get to the state of enjoyment in all stages of the journey?
“We should not judge people by their peak of excellence; but by the distance they have traveled from the point where they started.”
― Henry Ward Beecher
Every one of us is on a predetermine path, with a specific destination. None of us should take that lightly.
All of our journeys are different. Rarely, do we know what exactly is around the bend. That concept, is perhaps what keeps us going, or maybe it keeps it exciting. Regardless of the right answer, you can never stay right where you are. The environment continues to shift whether you are ready for it or not. YOU have to be proactive in keeping that journey alive. There is no journey without, YOU.
If you talk to some of the most successful entrepreneurs of our time, they RARELY knew everything they needed to know to start. They did not know where they were going. The difference between them and most people, is they started. They kept going even when the waters got rocky. They prepared for what was ahead, even without knowing what that looked like.
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.”
“Some beautiful paths can’t be discovered without getting lost.”
― Erol Ozan
“One does not discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.”
― André Gide
None of us have any idea where life is going for us. We all have to commit to ourselves to continue to put one foot in front of the other.
